Fitch Financial Services Center predicted Iraq’s national GDP growth in 2022 to be around 8%, with an increase of 5% compared to last year.
The center added that the increase in quick-paying loans, which is partially supported by the Central Bank of Iraq, has increased the growth of Iraq’s non-oil sector to 4 percent.
Although there are some official restrictions on economic activities related to Corona, in practice it has become largely insignificant.
